At my internship today I groomed 2 ponies and also I was helping Gallop grooming Marshmallow and and then I was sidewalking while a kid was on it.

Today while grooming my favorite pony, Butter Scotch,I noticed that he had got a little fatter and that now he has more hair. And they are so nice (hair xD).

Also there are two new interns at my internship, Kate and Katelyn. So now there are 3 people who go by the name of Kate, so it is pretty weird. When someone says something to one of the Kates I always think it is me.(I think mostly Katelyn is called Katelyn xD but I think she responses to Kate too)

My internship right now is not really the way I would want it to be but now I will just see the bright side of things and try not to think negative. Not everything always goes your way.

Just like I wish I would get on TRL to see Tokio Hotel but I dont think that I will get the tickets because they didnt respond to me.

But...

I got a confirmation letter from the Fuse!! Now I will see Hayley Williams from the Paramore. I am so happy!! :)

Also there is a Russian website like "classmates.com" (or something like that) and one of my old friends/classmates found me there!Thats so cool!.

Spring Break

Hi my Blog that I didnt visit for a while xD

My spring break is going great, even thought it is coming to an end. I have been busy almost every day of the week.

From Saturday to Monday I was in Staten Island with my friend. We were never at home. Most of the time we were actually in Brooklyn with her dad. We went to Staten Island mall and then tried to find change for the bus to go back home xD I wanted to go to SI mall for about 3 month to get a TH CD Single, but it was sold out :( Also I finally visited the church.

I was cleaning on Tuesday.

On April 23, 2008 (wednesday) Me and other Tokio Hotel Fans from NYC met up in Grand Central. It was so awesome. There were about 7 of us. We were sticking TH stickers everywhere. We were sticking it on people xD Garbage cans,HBO building, Fuse building, police officers..etc..It was the first time I actually spend my day with people who like TH just like me and it was pretty fun.

Also we went on Fuse (The Sauce) Live and we got our TH stickers on us and gave it to other audience. Also we made one of the hosts say Tokio Hotel and he did!! :)))

We also met two French guys after Fuse who knew Tokio Hotel.

Since Virgin Megastore is in Times Square and Tokio Hotel will have an autograph session there, we went there, met some other people who know about TH and I finally got the TH Single. Also we messed up the store by putting TH CDs everywhere. I was there (in manhattan) from 9am to 9pm xD

On thursday I could barely move so I was sleeping the whole day. And today (Friday) I was cleaning, a lot, because its going to be my easter on Sunday.))

I have finished cleaning so I am bored, thats why I wrote this. I did more stuff but now I am lazy to write. And I miss the horsesss :(

Today I have asked to groom a pony because I had nothing to do. So I was grooming it while Trofim and Naser were playing hand ball. Then I walked the pony because he is fat and needs to lose some weight.

After I finished Naser took Margarite out and Trofim took Stardust so we were grooming them.

After that I went to get some food. When I came back and ate I was helping Gallop with Naser and then I went home at 4.

I guess I might go to my internship during the break if I have time.

What is the point of writing these posts if its always the same.???

Today I came to my internship and started grooming a horse. Since Trofim and Naser want to do everything fast I was annoying them by cleaning the horse too much, so I was just watching.

Then we groomed more horses and went home.Fun?I know right.

Today I groomed a pony. Then another pony.Walked with that pony ( Chocolate Chip) since he needs to lose weight.

Then I was leading Smores for the pny ride. After that I was grooming a big horse. Then I went home.

This Daily Blog thing is now so boring. I am tired of writing the same thing everyday.

Today was all pretty much the same as always.

Me and Naser were first getting rid of spider webs. Then we were helping the Gallop, I was leading a horse and Naser was taking pictures.

I didnt get my time sheet today so I didnt get any hours. But I will get it signed tomorrow.

Today when I came, Sam Sam told me to groom Smores and she told Naser and Trofim to take the spider webs "down". I groomed the pony and then groomed Invisible and was just sitting doing nothing.

Then Naser came up to me and said that I should try to take the spider webs down and started giving me the thing that they did it with. And why should I always do what they tell me? (Trofim and Naser).-"oh go tell Alicia that we are leaving""go tell them that we are going for a break"..too scared to say it yourself?

When I needed to losen the girth to a horse after riding and asked Trofim to hold the horse do you think he did it.

But oh well whatever. Those "smart" people.

After I went for a break I started to take off the spider webs with Naser since Trofim left. Then we took Junction out because we had to take off the spider webs there where he was. He was really dirty and shedding. So I have decided to shed him really fast, he became much cleaner. But Naser started whining and telling me that I am not doing what I am not supose to do, but it is okay when both of these "smart" people just sit in the chairs outside and do nothing.

Well after that I left. Omg I wrote a lot about these losers, they are just messing my internship seriously. Im not gonna start saying what some people named Trofim call me.

Today first we groomed Merline and Stardust. Since Chelasea went to the store and I would be alone if Trofim,Sam Sam and Naser would leave I went to the park with them.

And wow, Trofim was telling me that they dont do anything there and that Im stupid that I just stay at the stables and dont do much. To get to the place where the lesson is takes like 10 minutes. Even if it takes 5 minutes its still pretty long, walking there.

When we came there the horse didnt want to run so for about 30 minutes I had to run next to the horse in dirt, it was so hard and I just couldnt do it anymore. So Naser went next and I was just laying on something xD on a branch I guess. Then we went back.

After that I just got some food. Stayed at the stables untill 4pm and went home. Also before living I saw how people were making a boot commercial.:)

I have decided to try out a new way of getting back. I took B68 that runs on Coney Island. Coney Island is one block away from the stables. After B68 I took like 3 stops on B9, the bus that comes straight to my building.

It took me less then 30 minuts! Like OMG!When I came home I found out that my feet are all in dust in which I was running during the lesson.

"Make the world a better place-kill yourself" if someone told me that and then said "go buy yourself some brain" is that smart to even mention the word "brain" after saying something like that? xDD Naser you are a dumbdonkey..not me..

Oh and today Im 16 and a 1/2 :) since today is April 9 and my b-day is on November 9.

and ohh again, Happy B-day Gerard Way! lol yeah Claudia, when are we celebrating? xD

OMG It is already 6:10PM.Time goes so fast.

I am really tired and want to sleep so I am lazy to write a lot.

Today ms. Carol visited for about 30 minutes. We were grooming ponies while she was there. After she left we were groominh a big horse because Chelsea had a trail ride.

After she left there was noone (I didnt see them) at the stables so we went to get some food. After eating me and Naser went with Chelsea to the park while she was teaching a lesson.

Ok goodbye,Im going to sleep xD

My experiences at Kensington Stables

It is pretty cool for me to have an internship at the barn full of horses that are different size and color. All of them have different personalities. Marguarite is very nice and calm horse. She is the larges horse at the stables. Also she can sing and kiss.

Chocolate Chip who is by far the smallest and I think the fattest horse at the stables is very cute. He is like a huge ball of meat on tiny little legs that make you think of how do they even hold him. Also when he runs or asks for carrots he makes funny pig sounds. Thats why me and other two interns from my school gave him a nickname "Piggie".

There is about 25 +/- horses at the stables so if I would be talking about them it would take forever. So let me talk about some of the people.

Chris always cleans the stables. You will always see him talking to horses. He calls all the horses "ponies". When some people especially with kids ride horses and then come back he offers them a little trip around the stables. I have seen it many times. He takes little kids and walks them through the stables telling them each horses name and a little about them.

Also there is Chelsea that is in charge to finding us, the interns, work. Since she is our age we always talk to her about different things. If you ask her for help for example to give us some vocab words she will definately do so. I know for sure that we share something in common with her. Her favorite pony is Chocolate Chip and he is also one of my favorites.

All people at the stables are really friendly and talkative. I have noticed that the fist time I came in there.

We often work with gallop so I also got to know Alicia. She is a very nice woman. We always talk to her about life. I mean the things we just do in life like different movies, music..etc.

One thing that I love the most about my internship is to ride a horse,also I love to groom ponies even when Trofim with Naser think its boring. They would rather sit in a chair and watch.

Midpoint Reflection Questions

• How has the internship been the same as and/or different than your expectations?

Well I expected pretty much the same thing. One thing that I expected and that didnt happen/is not happening is a lot of dirty work. I would not say that we do really dirty work there.

• What is similar and different about the culture of the school environment versus the workplace environment? What new skills have you learned that apply to the workplace?
  
  Well at the workplace ( I am just talking about my workplace) you can run around, jump,bang your head on the wall and you wont be panished. Also you dont really call anyone Mr. or Mrs/Ms. Um you can curse xD Another thing at my workplace that is different from school is that you dont sit in one place, you dont need any passes to go to the bathroom. You can easely go on a break to the store. You are more independant I guess. When my mentors or co-workes tell me to do something I do it, and that doesnt always happen when teachers tell me to do my work or HW.Also there are more grown ups ofcourse. Some skills that I have learned are all the things about grooming horses (if I got the question right)riding a horse,leading..etc.

• What kind of relationship do you have with your mentor and co-workers? How have you grown as a result of interacting with professional adults?
  
  What kind of relationship with Mentor?I dont even know.It is good.I just say "hi" give him my timesheet to sign and thats pretty much it. If he tells me to do something I do it. Relationship with the co-workers are pretty good also, even better than with my mentor. My co-workers are all fun to talk to and they are pretty talkative. Also I noticed that there are no peopel that are shy at my internship... I dont think that I have grown.

• What challenges at the internship have you faced that you have overcome and how did you overcome them?
  
  Challenges that dont have to do anything with Trofim? Well one was that at first I didnt change at my internship so that was not so cool when I was on the train xD Also before I was more scared of horses and now I am not that scared (well not as before) and I am slowly overcoming it by just being at my internship and by being around horses. Another challenge that I got was to clean horses hoofs, I was scared and couldnt do it because I would not be able to grab a horses foot with a lot strength. I overcame this by bacoming more used to horses and just being less scared.

• What challenges have you faced in school as a result of the altered schedule and how are you handling them?
  
  Now when I come home I feel more tired even if I didnt do anything at my internship and even if I come at the same time as I would come from school. So because I am tired I am lazy and sleepy. Because of that I am not really doing the work that is due at home. I am not really handling it, I tried to do it on the bus to school but I just cant do it.

• What goals are you working to accomplish during the remainder of the internship?
  
  I am not really sure. Whatever challenges or new things I will do at my internship I want to accomplish them and learn something new. Egh I will miss my internship.

• What new things have you learned about New York City?

Well I dont think I really did. I was suppose to? O.o

Daily Post:April 7,2008

Today Sam Sam again took us all to the park to give us short lessons. She said since I, yeah me is the best one at riding horses and that my complection is the best xD I could ride the horse to the park. So Sam Sam was on a horse, I was also on one named Stardust and Trofim with Naser were walking.

It was my second time riding on my own and after the accident with Junction on the traffic circle I was a bit scared. It was much easier on stardust,not only easier but faster.

When we came to the park first Sam Sam exercised her horse and then Trofim had a mini trotting lesson. Then it was my turn and Naser went last since he was going back on a horse.

After we came we went to get food since Sam Sam was going. Then we were grooming two ponies for Gallop to use. After we were done Alicia asked us if we could stay and help around with 2 little boys that had a lesson since they were missing poeple. Me and Naser stayed untill about 5:15pm and then we left.

Today when I came to my internship, again I was giving carrots to all the horses. This whole week I was buying carrots. xD

Chelsea was grooming/shedding Junction (He is still shedding!!!) so I asked if she needs help and she told me that I should also call "those two" (Trofim and Naser). I told them. So then me, Naser and Chelsea were grooming Junction.

After we finished Chelsea took out my favorite horse because she thought that he was shedding. He really didnt. But we were watching him rolling, it looked so cute.

Then we were just sitting outsite, and it was COLD. Chelsea told us to take two ponies (2 of them are my favorites) Chocolate Chip and Butter Scotch. I groomed Butter and Naser with Trofim were grooming little Chip.

After that we didnt do much again, just sitting. Then we went to get some food. After we came and ate we were watching how Chelsea was washing Charms back legs/feet. Then the farrior came and we were just looking at what he was doing and just chilling.

And then we went home. So today we didnt really do anything and it was COLD.:(

Points of the horse

Today Chelsea finally came back from France.

Uhm while Trofim and Naser were following Sam Sam while she was giving a lesson I was shedding/grooming Junction. Even though we did it yesterday a lot of hair still came out.

After Trofim and Naser came back Chelsea went to ride a horse and guide the people who came for the trail ride. She said that when she comes back at apprx. 3:30pm we are going to go to the park ride horses.

While she was away we had some food and then Trofim left and didnt stay to ride.

I was going to ride Junction who is pretty old. I got him set up and Naser was on Katie. I got on Junction and we started to walk. It was Chelsea on Emma, me on Junction and Naser on Katie. Junction is pretty slow so I was moving slowly and since Naser was after me he was slow too.

Chelsea was telling me to squeez Junction with my legs to make him walk faster and I did but it didnt really work, I guess Im not strong enough. Then I was also troting on him and that was pretty hard too, he would startd running when Nasers horse would start,so he was kind of running away from her.

Junction is also scared of water so on the way back there was mud with water and he stoped and didnt want to go forward so he just went through the trees off the track and I almost got scratched by branches, I was just putting my head back and didnt see where he was going. After that he got back into the track.

Then we were already close to the stables just walking through the traffic circle and Junction started to eat grass. Chelsea told me to pull his head back up, and I did but he was still kept putting it back and kept eating the grass. So Chelsea told me to pull up it and to the side and kick him, and I did but it didnt work. Chelsea had to get off her horse to get him back on track.

I was kind off scared because Chelsea was leading him and his horse at the same time and they dont really like eachother and tried to bite.

After I was finally off him my legs and knees were hording. My legs were hurting because I was kicking him and he didnt listen so I had to kick him more and it still didnt work. Also while going back and while Chelsea was leading Junction I hit my knee on the stop sign.

If you dont count the accident with the mud and the grass/traffic circle it was pretty cool since I rode a horse all by myselfe even though it didnt listen to me that much.

Hehe Naser called me a pathetic rider, I would really love to see Naser on Junction.

That is another animal that lives at the stables. (well not one) xD

Hallooo.(I am a car xD-Dane Cook xDD)

Today when we came to the stables first thing I did after changing is give each horse a carrot. Invisible is sick so after touching him you have to washyour hands so that if you touch another horse that horse dont get sick too. He looked so sad today and not energetic.

Gallop didn't really need our help today so instead of sitting there and doing nothing like Naser and Trofim I took Smorse (Pony) because Gallop was using it at 3pm. So I groomed him. Then Fran told us that we should groom Star(thats not the whole name) because she was using it later so we groomed her. She was mad at first and even tried to bite us.

After that since we had nothing to so Fran told us that we should take Junction and shed him because he is shedding. So for about 45 minutes thats what we were doing. There was so much hair, you should of see it! xD (I have a picture). Then Trofim was shedding his name out xD

When it turned 3pm we went to get some food since its our break time. After we came there were 3 girls who came for a trail ride so we went alone. They were pretty cool. One of them was asking me about what are we doing there at the stables. Also I was just asking her questions like where she is from and how long she have been living in NY.

Trofim was also taking pictures for them. He was running like crazy there xD

When we came back it was already 4:15pm and time for us to go home so we did.)
